How To Terminate Pregnancy With Mifepristone And Misoprostol?

hello, I am a month pregnant and I took Mifepristone at 3 PM on 6th Aug and today, 8th Aug took 4 Misoprostol orally at 12 Noon. I have bad abdomen pain and havent started bleeding, so took 2 more Misoprotol vaginally at 7 PM. What could it be and how long should I wait before seeking help?

Hello,

Let me tell you that the majority of pregnancies up to 12 weeks duration are terminated within hours of the first administration of misoprostol. Most of the of women experience an abortion within the first 24 hours.

Sometimes it is very difficult to detect in the very early stages of pregnancy, because the embryonic tissue is indistinguishable from the normal clotting of menstrual blood. Only close inspection of the sanitary pad can reveal whether the pregnancy has been terminated. But if you are still sure that there is no bleeding at all and as you have taken the full course then the entire process may be repeated. Please consult a nearby gynecologist if there is still no bleeding.
