Hi,I m an 19 year old boy from India and recently I realised that my penis doesn t quite function the way it is supposed to. I did a little research and I think the problem I have is called Phimosis. The foreskin of my penis is still attached to the glans.I need help as to which type of doctor I need to consult and what type of home methods I can use to cure this if there are any.
You are advised to see a urologist about your problem. He may first advise you some local steroid cream for application. In some cases, it may be effective. In other cases, where it is not effective, surgery is required and this operation is called circumcision.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
