Hi im, just wondering i have been tested for a sexually transmitted disease if the results come back clear have i got anything to worry about. The person who i had sex with his doctor has taken swabs and thinks hw has contracted a std. Also i have read about Pelvic Inflamatory Disease and have answered yes to two of the questions what should i do now.
The very first thing is to make sure that the person who you had sex with has really (and not thinking to have) an STD and to determine the type. If you have been tested for STDs and resulted negative, then, nothing to worry about unnecessarily.
Pelvic inflammatory disease is when the internal pelvic organs get inflamed/infected. This is associated with pain and other local symptoms.
Once you know for sure the type of STDs, can start proper treatment. Make sure to practice always safe sex (protected).
All the best!
