How To Test For Club Feet Despite Suffering From Arthritis In An Elderly Person?

Greetings from Australia I am wanting/needing to contact someone with a knowledge of CLUB FEET - I am now 78 years old and my feet were manipulated and plastered and braced soon after birth - (up to and including the hips for realignment) no problems all my life but we are now growing in much older ages and I feel my feet and leg problems are related to the club feet and not solely arthritis and my local GP does not seem to understand what I am saying as I really want to know if the bones are reversing and should be looked at NOW and if anything is required to keep me on my feet for (many) more years. I am very healthy and would hate to end I a wheelchair if it could have been prevented. I doubt anyone as considered OLD AGE with this condition. Cheers Veronica Bates

Hello,

Your club feet were corrected and now you want to know if it relapsed. There is chance of relapse. If you visit an orthopedic surgeon, he will examine your feet and can tell if your club feet returned or not. Most of the times, with successful correction there are very minimal chances of recurrence. But to clear your doubt, orthopedic doctor visit is required.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
