General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for your query.
It is unlikely that your are pregnant. The depo shot can cause hormonal irregularities and symptoms similar to premenstrual syndrome or pregnancy.

I recommend :
-a pregnancy test if your period has not come in another 2 weeks.
If negative, then don't worry. However if your symptoms bother you too much, you may want to talk to your doctor about other Contraceptive options.

It is important to rule out a pregnancy before your next shot, should you decide to continue it, as it is harmful to a growing fetus/baby.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Wish you good health
