Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m 18 years old and I ve been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend for almost 3 weeks now. Not everyday, but around 3 or 2 rounds every other day or every two days. It s now 7 days until my period, and I m wondering, if I am pregnant, will my cycle still come on since it s already close?
Hello dear I understand your concern There is chance of the pregnancy as you did unprotected sex in the fertile phase of the cycle. Delayed period is the definitive sign of the pregnancy. I would suggest to wait for period for 2 more days If period will not come then go for urine pregnancy test or blood HCG test tp confirm the pregnancy. If you will be pregnant then still you can intrauterine pregnancy by the abortion pill under the advise of the gynecologist. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regualr exercise. Hope this may help you
Best regards Dr. Sagar
