A local ENT diagnosed me with leukoplakia. I have been experiencing white patches in my mouth for over two years. Using hydrogen peroxide does help, but they come back. Do you think I have oral cancer? I have never been a smoker or a heavy drinker.
While patches in mouth that come and go are not commonly due to Leukoplakia as Leukoplakia patches generally persist and fade gradually with treatment.
Also if there is no irritating factor then the patches will not Probably recur..
So my suggestion is to once get a Biopsy done to rule out the exact nature of the patches..
But as far as oral cancer is concerned your symptoms are not appearing consistent with it.. So do not worry..
Regards..
