It has to be scraped by removing cells from the surface of the lesion with a small, spinning brush or surgically removing the entire patch (excisional biopsy). I would advice you to have a biopsy done to rule out the diagnosis of leukoplakia. If you have the habit of taking tobacco ,smoking quitting that is very important.
