How To The Worse Feeling Caused By Hypothyroidism?

I have hypothyroidism, diagnosed 7 years ago. Have currently been on the highest dosage of synthroid for 3 years, 2 weeks ago my levels were at a 37, and I am feeling worse by the minute. Just took mu temp. 95.8 and cant get to a thyroid specialist until sometime next month. Should I go to E.R. now or do you have other suggestions?

Hello,
Thank you for asking on HCM!
I have gone carefully through your situation.

You didn't mention the actual dose of synthroid and i would like to inform you that it is very important to take it properly (when you wake up in the morning and 1 hour after you must not eat or drink).

It would help us also the level of FT4 and FT3.
After checking the TSH level 2 weeks ago, did you raise the dose of synthroid? If not you should raise it because the actual dose is not enough.
Hope the information will help.

Kind regards,
Dr.M.Guni
