How To Train A Child To Use Toilet For Passing Stools?
I have a 4 year old granddaughter that is afraid to do her poopies on the toilet. She says she is afraid because it hurts and wants to have a diaper on to do them. When she does go in a diaper, her stool is usually a very good size and is solid. Is there anything we can do for her or give to her that will help her have an easy time going on the toilet as opposed to wearing a diaper.
Namasthe Welcome to Healthcare-Magic Greetings of the day
I would suggest you the following apart from being considerate and relaxed in your attitude towards toilet training.
2. Ensuring adequate intake of water: One cup of plain water 1 hour before and one hour after feeds will ensure adequate intake of water which will help in making the consistency of stools soft 3. High fiber diet: 2 serving of vegetable salad and citrus fruits a day will be very helpful in ensuring adequate fiber intake
In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
