How To Treat Hashimoto's Disease With Swollen Glands, neck, groin, fatigue And Sore Throat?

My daughter is 30, has 2 young children, is very fit through excellent exercise regime. Last year diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease then 6 weeks later glandular fever. Vitamin B injections helped but she has gone down hill quickly, swollen glands neck and groin, extreme tiredness, sore throat. She lives in New Zealand and I am in Australia so naturally with the distance I am more worried than perhaps I would be if I was there and she is relaying how concerned she is too and not confident in Dr's.

Hi. Hashomoto's is an autoimmune disease , which in simple words is a problem where the body is not ready to recognize its own cells/ tissues. Steroid is the mainstay of the treatment and needs to be started and altered as per response under a Doctor's supervision.
