How To Treat Milia Bumps On Face?

I am a white 60 year old woman and have melia on many spots on my face. I have tried to stick a needle in them. Only to end up with broken blood vessels. If I have a chemical peel will this take care of them??? Also how can I make the broken vessels disappear?? Thank you for your help.
