How To Treat A A Cyst In My Epididymis?

Hello, I have been diagnosed with a cyst in my epididymis and the doctor said he coulden't do anything, however every time after I ejaculate, my whole epididymis flares up and become hard and swollen and painful... can a cyst really cause that and is truely not a reason for alarm?
