General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

An epididymal cyst is a benign condition and does not cause much problem. Surgery is the only treatment option.

If you are asymptomatic and do not have pain or discomfort, you can wait and do surgery later. Keep in mind that surgery has got rare complications like infertility in the future as it might injure sperm conducting tubules during the procedure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
