i fell in the shower about 8 months ago, i dont clearly remember the fall i just remember realizing i was on my hands and knees in the shower, my kids were standing there crying and i had a bad taste in my mouth, they said they came running cause i screamed! i opened my eyes and there was blood spraying everywhere, all in the shower, on the floor, the walls. right at the outside of my left eyebrow up almost to the hairline, i had hit my head on the soap dish on the way down. it left a BIG knot and a cut and bruising, now there is a very evident dent there, i really think i chipped my skull! Since then, i lose track of days, forget how to get to common places, dont recognize my friends, i cant seem to get my usually very organized self, together. that day for example, i knew where i was, who i was with, but my fiance had left me there alone with the children, and i couldnt remember where he went, when he was coming back, or his phone number. we were on vacation in georgia. when we got back to florida, i had lost 4 days, i thought it was friday, it was tuesday. about a week later, my fried came by to see me and she was outside talking to my fiance, and i walked out there looked her in the face and cursed at her! she followed me back inside and tried to talk to me for about 15 minutes before she gave up. the next day i saw her and that was when i realized i had cursed out my friend. usually i wouldnt even curse at stranger who deserves it. a few days later we are riding to walmart could drive there with a blindfold on, i forgot how to get there!!! it keeps happening!! losing stuff, forgetting stuff, being aggressive..etc. i never went to the hospital, my room phone wouldnt work, and the lady at the front desk wouldnt let me use the phone, while i stood there literally bleeding so, i put ice on it, and waited for my fiance to get back. now here i am 8 months later and i am wondering if maybe i did some real damage. should i go get it checked out, or would it be too late to tell?
