Hi..
Can understand your concern..
As per your complain after extraction the blood clot acts as a medium through which the healing takes place ..
If you have a loose blood clot you need not to worry till the time it is there in the socket as slowly when the cell growth will take place the clot will get firmly placed in the socket..
You can just take a few precautions to maintain the clot in place..
First thing is avoid chewing from that side as it can lead to dislodgement of clot.
Do not gargle and if you feel like just take water in mouth and spit out without pressure but i would even suggest not to do that as much as possible..
Do not take aerated drinks as the air bubbles formed can dislodge the clot although less chances but can happen..
Do not sip using a straw.
Do not eat anything that needs sucking.
Do not touch the socket with the tongue.
Avoid
smoking and alcohol as it delays healing and smoking creates negative pressure in mouth leading to dislodgement of clot.
Do not panic and if you have any problem related to it consult your
dentist for checkup.
Hope your query is solved..
Thanks and regards..
