Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain lump on the forehead of your daughter is due to injury to the soft tissues leading to rupture of blood vessels causing bruising and hematoma formation, and there is accumulation of inflammatory cells and exudate, damaged muscle fibres, ruptured blood vessels and they all get accumulated at the site of injury and many a times the hematoma gets encapsulated leading to formation of a hard lump and it takes a longer time to resolve and can even take months..
As it is reducing in size and your baby is also acting normal you need not to worry as there seems nothing serious..
You can do alternate warm and cool compresses over the lump for faster healing.
If there is pain you can apply a numbing gel and also give her tylenol..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
