How To Treat A Large Dent Between Ankle And Knee Caused After Injury?
My son got hurt at a football game last night. He went to the er and had X-rays. They said they was going to treat it as a bad sprain and he is to stay off if it for two days and follow up with a ortho doctors. He has a big dent in the side if his leg half way between his ankle and knee. He could not put any weight on it. They never was very clear about the X-ray just acted like they wanted to get us out of there.

The x ray should have shown up any damage to the bones but if you are not confident about the result then you should get a second opinion for his doctor or go back to the ER.
The dent may be due to soft tissue damage.
