How To Treat A Large Lump With The Blood Discharge On The Inner Thigh?

So I have a painful hard lump on my inner left thigh 2 inches from top of sack. Pushed a needle in to pop it and the first time tons of white foul smelling discharge popped out of it. Now I push the needle in and very dark blood pours out. No pain where the needle goes in, and it travels a good inch deep. (Of course very sanitary about this) I am wondering if I should see a DR or just let it alone?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
This is probably an abscess and you should not puncture it alone and you should see surgeon for professional therapy of surgical incision and drainage. Also, sample of pus should be taken and then antibiotic can be prescribed for specific type of bacteria.
I hope I have answered your query. I wish you a nice day.
