How To Treat A Large Red Rash On Buttocks Inspite Of Using Ketoconazole?

my husband has a red solid rash around his butt hole and goes out about an inch and a half where it then starts to go outwards in a scattered area has been up to about 8 inch. He has gone to the doctor twice!Doctor said what i had said which was that it was a yeast infection. He gave him Ketoconazole Cream 2% said to use so often as he can and Betamethasone Valerate Cream 0.1% a small amount 3x a day for itching. It has not cleared up yet and this has been 2 months.

I think he should get evaluated by a proctologist because the red rash you refer may be hemorrhoids and that can be a reason why it can't get cured by ketoconazole.
