How To Treat A Nose Block?

Hi , Doc has advised montair lc kid for 1 month to my son who is 7 year old..actually i had taken him to ENT specialist as he was telling was not able to hear properly & got wax removed then doc told he has got sum allergy & suggested this medicine ...also still he has got nose block & makes sum sound to release that..kindly advise

Hi ,
Thank for asking to HCM.
As per your clinical history it appears as your son having allergy with adenoid hypertrophy which causes nose block.
If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you Steam Inhalation , Saline nasal drop & Steroid nasal spray with antihistamine.
I also like to do X ray nasopharynx lateral view to conform diagnosis.
