What Causes Nose Block?
Hello, Dr. i am 33 years and feeling my nose block from a acouple of weeks i went to a local dr. he gave me some anti biotec and a nesal spray i felt comfortable after that as my headache and eyes burning gone but nose still get blocked time by time in day and night but i really dont feel problem in breathing... then again i went to another dr he suggest DNS and asked for the operation he further said my sines are infected...... what should i do as i have fear of takin insthesia.. and operation....one more thing i often feel pain in my left shoulder, arm and leg also i dont know wather it is because of this nose problem of any thing else...... please guide....is operation the last option ....

Noted your history well and understood the concerns.
Nose blockage can not cause pain on side of body as you have mentioned for. The cause can be in the cervical spine or brain and needs MRI of the spine and brain after Neurological evaluation.
Sine nose block has continued even after treatment means you need to get CT scan of the nose and sinuses as this will define the cause perfectly and give way to the management.
Mild cases need 3 weeks course of medicines as per the cause found.
If the sinuses are full or there is deviated nasal septum causing the blockage then only a corrective surgery is needed.
Consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, examination, Nasal Endoscopy and get a proper diagnosis and management.
