General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, it is association with multiple co morbid conditions which manifest as the audio and visual hallucinations. Usually underlying depression, fear, anxiety, personality disorders with psychosis which has to be evaluated in greater details with expert physician or pscyhiatrist. Many treatment modalities available once the diagnosis is confirmed as below:
- Counselling by clinical psychologist
- Home and office support
- Meditations and YOGA
- Anti psychotic, anti depressant, sedative as melatonin or other supportive care
- Check to allow her a balanced nutritious diet
- Avoidance of conflict, stress with family involvement

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
