My dad is currently teaching english is China. Not a great place for health care. Before he left, he was having some issues with his prostate. His "numbers" were high, but with antibiotics, and good eating habits, he got the numbers low enough to get a clean bill of health for China. He's now been there for 4 months. He's lost 20 pounds. He gets cold very easily. Then every night he gets the sweats. So bad that he has to change his pi's and put a towel down on the bed. He's gotten his blood tested there. Everything seems normal, but his white blood cell count is high....meaning there is some kind of an infection, but where we don't know. They don't want to do a biopsy because the medical system there is so poor. Do you know what might be causing the weight loss and night sweats?
