hello,
i can understand your concern.
the first thing which is important is donot take the antibiotics which lead to the resistance of them. you have been regularly taking penicillins, this might have lead to antibiotic resistance leading to the frequent bouts of infections.
since you are already using amoxicillin+clavulanate which itself is a higher antibiotic i would suggest completing the course of the antibiotic completely.
do salt water gargles with lukewarm water.
do not eat ice creams or cold stuff
frequent tonsillitis can be a cause, if present tonsillectomy can be planned for the same.
if the problem still persists i would suggest a throat swab to be taken for culture sensitivity and appropriate antibiotics to be taken according to the report.
hope you are satisfied with the response.
feel free to ask further queries.
thanks for choosing HCM.
