How To Treat Abdominal Pain Caused During Menstruation?

Hello, i m 24 year old and i m suffering from stomach pain of menstrual since 7 years.. My weight is 37 kg my height is 5 1.. I hv taking noble spase tablets fr menstrual pains.. So give me adwise, Is this right fr me?? Or should i take smthng else... Nd also give me adwise fr gaining my weight!!!!

Hello.
Thanks for writing to HCM.
as menstruation is preceded by various symptoms measuring from abdominal pain to fever and headache. All these are classified as pre menstrual syndrome which is very much common.
As there is increased contraction of uterus during menstruation so it causes pain.
Usually symptomatic treatment is given to PMS patients but if patient develops severe symptoms than hormonal treatment or SSRI or selective serotonin receptor inhibitors can be given.
No le spas is to relieve pain and its okay
U can try mefenamic acid with diclofenac combination which will be better.
