Hello, Acute bronchitis may be viral in origin and that s the cause of your fever, fatigability, dizziness and sore throat. Symptomatic care is all that s needed now. The following are few treatment options. Take plenty of fluids and prevent dehydration. Take tab. Acetaminophen every 6th hourly. Continue Prednisone as prescribed. Steam inhalation would ease the symptoms. Warm salt water gargles twice daily would help. If there is secondary bacterial infection that can be known if the sputum is dark yellow in color, antibiotics may be necessary.
