98 year old woman diagnosed with an aggressive melanoma on her leg. We are advised to do nothing since removing the rest of the cancer on the leg would be a major surgery.We agree to just let nature take its course, because of her age. What can we expect as far as lifespan and pain she will incur? She is currently living at home with 24 hour nursing care. She would like to stay at home, but we are unsure if this would be possible if her care will exceed what the home healthcare folks can do.
