I recently popped an ingrown hair on my thigh.later that nite it pussed ovr like always so i popped it.the next day there was a blistery welt around the hair and it itches like crazy.it is only red.no puss or fluid leaking and no discoloration.i actually have in two spots but the second one is smaller with a scab.i picked at it which i shouldnt have.its not spredding or getting larger but i have noticed an achiness underneath the areas and they kind of burn but not bad.could it be a staph infection?ive had it for a week and its not healing.i dont have any other symptoms either besides the achiness which started today.last but not least should i be worried and go to the hospital or follow up with my family doctor?
