How To Treat An Infected, Hard Lump On Lower Back?

I have an infected bump on my lower back and I think it has caused me to have a fever. I know it is causing me extreme pain. Doesn't look like an insect bite, but more like a zit. Except it's hot and hard around it. My whole lower back is in horrible pain, please help!
