How To Treat An Internal Fever?

Hi Doc, I am having internal fever for the past 4 days. When I wake up in the morning, I have a headache. My body sometimes shivers (or slightyly shakes) while I am sleeping. I can feel the rigours. I also feel giddy most of the time. What could be the reason. Pls help. TQ.

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that you might be having Urinary tract Infection(UTI).
Following investigations may be helpful:-
1. Urinary examination(Routine/Microscopic and Culture/Sensitivity).
2. Complete Blood Count.
3. Antigen test for malaria.

You can take paracetamol 500 mg 3-4 times a day for fever and headache.
Full medical management can be planned after knowing the reports of the investigations.

Also drink lots of water daily.
