Hello Doctor My mother has been diagnosed with anemia her haemoglobin level has been down to 8-10 over last 6-7 months oral Iron absortion is not happenning - that s what doctors say in orissa. she has now been asked to take Inj for the same. please advise what other medical step should be taken ?

Hello,Welcome to HCM.8-10mg is not very less.If she concentrates on diet and daily iron tablet or syrup ,definetly level will come to normal.Strictly try this for one month.TakeDiet rich in iron :like- green vegetables,ragi,jaggery.Take care
