How To Treat Ankle Sprain Causing Pain And Swelling?
I fell about 2 weeks ago twisting my ankle Inversion. The bone on the outside is still pretty swollen and it hurts to walk on it. I iced it the first few days and wrapped it with an Ace bandage. I have been walking on it with an ace and surgical shoe from a previous. After seeing the pictures I see it may be a tear. Do I need to see a podiatrist or keep it wrapped & be more patient with the healing?
Thank for posting on HCM! I understand your injury. you should continue to patiently wait for the self-healing injury. you should rotate the ankle brace against in the first 3 weeks after the injury to fixed and instant anatomical structures ankle area, then use a bandage wrapped around the ankle in the next 2 weeks. travel restrictions, lies high foot guard, attached using pain patches or analgesic cream. hope this help you!
