Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My boyfriend donated blood yesterday afternoon and he noticed red bumps on his skin today. His arm is still sore, but he has donated over 30 times to date. This has not been something that he has encountered before, but we are worried if this is still normal or should he get it checked out?
Hi, It seems that he might be having extravasation of blood from vein puncture or might be having thrombophlebitis. Apply ice pack 2-3 times a day for few days. Apply Thrombophob cream on the part. Ok and take care.
