General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the blood in stool with white stool indicates disturbances with GI flora by various types of infections. Guidelines for better recovery:
- Dietary measures to avoid all dairy fat
- Prefer more liquids at sessions including boiled water, oral rehydration salt
- Antibiotic as Metronidazole syrup
- Zinc suspension
- Continue breast feeding
- Avoid all commercial milk preparations if applicable

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
