How To Treat Benzo Withdrawal Mediated Right Cheek Tingling?
Hello, I have been experiencing tingling on my right cheek for over a week. I m assuming it s related to benzo withdrawal as I was taking clonazepam regularly for about two months, tapered a little and have been off it completely for 9 days. Other than the Eustachian tube problems for which I was prescribed the clonazepam, I am a healthy 36-year-old female who is having more and more difficulty sleeping due to this tingling. What can I try to treat it? Please help.
Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum. The tingling of the cheek may be due to the some inflamation in side the mouth. Or some dental problem. I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. After examination, he may decide if there is any infection in the mouth. If nothing is found you can consider it to be the withdrawl symptom.Your doctor will either add some other anxiolytic, or same benzodizepine in low dose. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
