Hello,
Black spots are commonly caused by overactive pigment cells. Age spots appear when skin is exposed to sunlight and melanin becomes clumped or when it is produced in high concentrations.
Vitamin B12 deficiency has been linked with increased production of melanin, leading to
hyperpigmentation marks like black spots. You are suggested to take home made balanced nutritious food rich in minerals, proteins and vitamin B6, B12, etc. You can also take supplements.
You should avoid excessive exposure to sunlight. Stay well hydrated. Take steam every alternate days, to keep the pores clean. Clogged pores cause pimples, acne and cause black spots on skin. To lighten dark spots, keep your liver healthy. Take food good for the liver, Take quality sleep.
You can apply home face packs with milk, turmeric and sandalwood powder everyday. Lemon is also a good bleaching agent. Skin creams with ingredients to lighten the skin may be effective. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a
dermatologist. You may be recommended
chemical peels or
laser treatment for better result.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
