How To Treat Bleeding And Clear Discharge From Ear Due To A Injury?
My friend fell and hit his head on the rightside on concrete his ear is still bleeding and has clear liquid seeping out.he had a cat scan, but I don t think he got the results.this happened 5-7DAYs ago.I begged him to go back to the hospital but he s a piece of work and I m extremely concerned.can u convince him to go or give me a idea. Of his prognosis.
Please clarify it it is from the ear lobe or the external ear. If bleeding is from outer part then it can be controlled by proper cleaning and dressing. But if there is bleeding and or seeping of fluid from ear canal then middle ear may be involved or there may be a damage to ear drum (tympanic membrane). So it is necessary to get the ear examined by the ENT specialist and proper treatment needs to be taken.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
