How To Treat Bleeding Caused Due To Deep Cut On Toe After A Injury?

I tripped on my open toe sandal and my pinky toe got caught on the cement and ripped from the webbing, basically in the crease and base of the toe It s ripped and it s pretty deep. I have it bandaged but I m wondering if I should get stitches. There was a lot of blood when it happened but it s not too bruised or anything now (a day later)

Welcome at HCM
i have gone through your query and being your doctor I completely understand your health concerns.
Just wash the wound and wash it with normal saline. Apply pressure with guaze pieces to stop bleeding.
As far as stitches are concerned it should be decided by surgeon . so consult surgeon regarding it.
Hope it helps and may u get well soon
