How To Treat Bleeding From Throat While Trying To Clean The Infection?
Hello! My boyfriend and I both have strep throat and his is worse then mine. He says that he feels very weak and has difficulty swallowing and his tonsils have infection on them. About two days ago he was in the restroom looking at his throat and he decided he wanted to try to pull some of the infection off of his tonsils, and it was fine. He did it again about 6 hours ago and it bled quite a bit then he smoked a cigar after. Just a little while ago he started coughing, it bled again to the point he had to catch it with his hands.I was just wondering what he could do if there is anything, or if he needs to get medical attention for pulling the infection off.Thank you for you time, Harley

From history it seems that you might be having acute follicular tonsillitis producing pus, soreness or ulcer iving rise bleeding.
You might require a course of antibiotic medicine like Azithromicin 500 mg once daily for 5 days.
Take some anti-inflammatory medicine as well.
Do antiseptic gargles.
Avoid fried, chillies and junk food.
Ok and take care.
