How To Treat Blisters On Sensitive Area Of Skin After Waxing?
Hi I received a Brazilian wax about 2 days ago ... It hurt worst than usual after getting it done ... Now it seems like I m having a bad reaction , I m hoping its not herpes . I seem to have some skin burned off from the waxing and now blisters have formed
As per your query you have blisters on sensitive area of skin after waxing . Well bumps that show up after waxing are folliculitis that is an inflammation of the hair follicles. Most bumps that occur after waxing usually only last for about three days, requiring only minor treatment to relieve the discomfort and prevent infection. Topical ointments that contain polymyxin B sulfate and bacitracin zinc will help heal the bumps and ward off infection , also give cold compresses . If condition doesn't get improve or get worse then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically or order skin test or blood test to rule out herpes . Doctor may prescribe antiviral medicine along with corticosteroid ointment .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
