How To Treat Bloating?

Last night my husband came home and said that he was feeling bloated, his abdomen was hard and distended. Was having cold sweats, and said his chest felt tight. I wanted to take him to the ER, but he said it was only indigestion from eating chili.

This morning seems ok, except for a headache. Should I be worried

Distended abdomen and cold sweats should not be taken lightly. They may be signs of acute abdominal emergency conditions such as intestinal perforation. Similarly tight chest should not be ignored. Thousands of lives are lost everyday because of patients' misconception that they are having only indigestion; many of these case actually turn into heart attack. Hence without delaying further kindly see an emergency physician immediately.
