How To Treat Blood Associated Phlegm While Having History Of Perforated Ulcer On Small Bowel?
i have been spitting up blood in my phlegm for the past 5 days. this has been happening all though out the day. i had a perforated ulcer 2 years ago on my small bowel found during my gall bladder surgery. right now i feel a heating sensation where the ulcer used to be and the blood is very bright in my phlegm.
Blood in phlegm is due to infection of sinuses, throat or lungs. If there is bleeding in the stomach ulcer, blood comes out in vomit.
You should therefore, consult your doctor, who will evaluate you to localize the site of bleed/infection and prescribe appropriate treatment.
