How To Treat Blood Discharge During Urination And Abdominal Pain On Having Sex?
I had sex on mon. since then on wed I started to pee blood clots. I had a low fever, and a small pain on my abdominal area. i seen the doc on thurs and tested positive to an infection and im currently taking antibiotics. I have no fever anymore, and a small amount of blood is coming out still with a bit of pain. by the way I have an iud that expired a month and a half ago. should I be worried?
Hi, Welcome to the HCM, Since expired IUD could cause infection and pelvic inflammatory disease, which can cause your symptoms. And bleeding in clots is also one of the side effects of IUD.I would suggest get checked by your gynaecologist promptly and discuss accordingly. As it may need removal and get an ultrasound abdomen to rule out uterine or ovarian disease after discussing with your gynaec.
