How To Treat Blood In Urine Due To Presence Of Kidney Stones?

I had a uteroscopy and internal lithotripsy on Monday 5th January 2015. The medical team inserted a stent in my urethra in order to assist the removal of a kidney stone. Unfortunately the procedure was unsuccessful and I am having further lithotripsy in the next 2 weeks (advised by registrar on medical team) to hopefully remove the stone. I was advised by my GP today that I had Klebsiella pneumonia in my urine sample (taken prior to my hospital admission on 5/01/2015). My urine is still blood coloured is this normal? I am worried about the infection too. I look forward to your reply. Many thanks. Marian
