My 11 yr old grand daughter was in a car wreck last January. ger soubak cird was crushed. She is paralized from the waist down. She goes to physical therapy every week and they have been putting her in a re walk . Today she was in the rewalk and looked in the mirror and said My leg is growing. It was badly swollen. She was taken to the er and her leg is broken. They have decided to cast it from the hip down. My question is how could her leg just break like that. They have been getting her to stand using a walker. Could it be too much for her. I m just trying to understand.
