General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Foot spur or plantar fasciitis can be treated by:
- Using soft heeled footwear or silicon shoe inserts
- Gentle massage with analgesic creams or oral analgesics can be taken for pain relief
- Dip the foot in hot water twice daily
- Do passive stretching of ankle
- If no relief, local steroid injection and laser treatment would be helpful

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya Vasudevan, General & Family Physician
