My 2.5 year old seems to struggle to breathe through is nose at night. He wakes up at least once or more. I took him to his doctor and he said he had a slight ear infection and generous tonsils. He said that if it didn t clear up in 2 weeks to call for a referral to an ENT. However, he was breathing like this for about 1.5 weeks before I called the doctor, he s been on amoxicillan for 8 days with NO change. He continues to struggle to breathe through his nose. Here I am at close to midnight, so concerned... he doesn t sound right. There were a few times I thought he stopped breathing but the doctor said he s not going to stop breathing but I swear he does and then wakes up. He has never been the best sleeper since about 1.5 years old.. wakes up quite a bit, at least once a night
