How To Treat Bruise And Pain In The Knee Caused After A Injury?

I am having knee pain from a recent injury. I dove back to third base in a softball game last Friday and landed hard on my right knee. I got pretty good turf burn but then started to bruise on the inside of my right knee. It is extremely tender to the touch. I have been icing which makes it feel better. It hurts the worst when I climb stairs

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the knee pain and have history of injury of knee joint then better to get done the MRI of knee joint because Meniscus is most matter of concern it can be broken easily, try not to bend the knee joint till you got the right diagnosis hope this information helps.
