General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
A bruised sensation on the head of the penis could indicate inflammation or trauma, which can also contribute to the stinging sensation during urination. You may need additional treatment, such as anti-inflammatory medication or further testing for sexually transmitted infections.
In the meantime, you can try to alleviate your symptoms by drinking plenty of water to help flush out any bacteria or irritants and avoiding spicy or acidic foods that may irritate the urinary tract. Additionally, practicing good hygiene and wearing loose-fitting clothing can also help reduce discomfort.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
